The plan conforms to the purposes of the PUD District: <br /> <br />The proposed PUD development plan conforms to the purposes ofthe PUD <br />District by providing safe access to the site and adequate on-site parking and <br />circulation. By taking advantage of the flexibility of the PUD district, the <br />applicants and staff have been able to work together to design the project in a <br />manner most appropriate for this use. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the the proposed PUD development <br />plan is consistent with the General Plan, and the project's building and site design, <br />as proposed and conditioned, is appropriate for the surrounding area and conforms <br />to the purposes of the PUD Ordinance. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />Section 1. <br /> <br />Recommends approval of Case PUD-96-0S/UP-96-05, the application of <br />Raymund Villanueva/IN-N-OUT Burger for conditional use permit and <br />development plan approval to construct a new, approximately 2,919 square foot, <br />fast-food restaurant with drive-through, and for development plan approval for a <br />6,300 square foot retail building pad on the former Budget Rent-a-Car and <br />Guaranty R.V. Center site at 4011 Pimlico Drive, subject to the conditions shown <br />in Exhibit "B," attached hereto and made part of this case by reference. <br /> <br />Section 2. <br /> <br />This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br />
