PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. PC-97-95 RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR THE WATER TANK PROPOSED FOR THE GREENBRIAR SYCAMORE V ALLEY COMPANY DEVELOPMENT, AS FILED UNDER CASE PUD-97-03 WHEREAS, Greenbriar Sycamore Valley Company has applied for PUD plan approval for a Ill-unit, single-family development located on approximately 56.2::t acres ofland at 530, 720, and 838 Sycamore Road; and WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD-LDRI A (Planned Unit Development-Low Density ResidentiaV Agricultural) District; and WHEREAS, the project includes the construction of a 1.1 million gallon water tank and access road on the Lund Ranch II property; and WHEREAS, an Environmental Impact Report was prepared and certified for the North Sycamore Specific Plan, but the proposed water tank was not included within the scope of the EIR; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated October 20, 1997, and received the recommendations of staff; and WHEREAS, at its meeting ofDecmeber 10, 1997, the Planning Commission received a proposed negative declaration prepared for the proposed water tank; and WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposal; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the water tank would not have any significant adverse effects on the environment.
