<br />PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-97-79 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF 1ST UNITED SERVICES <br />CREDIT UNION/PRUDENTIAL INSURANCE COMPANY FOR DESIGN REVIEW <br />APPROVAL, AS FILEDUNDERCASEPUD-81-30-72D <br /> <br />WHEREAS, 1st United Services Credit UnionlPrudential Insurance Company has applied for <br />design review approval to allow the construction of a two-story, 20,046 square <br />foot office building on a 1.80 acre parcel ofland (portion of Site 35) in the <br />Hacienda Business Park located at 590 I Gibraltar Drive; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development) - I/C-O (Industrial, <br />Commercial, and Offices) District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its duly noticed public hearing of September 10,1997, the Planning Commission <br />considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations of the City <br />staff concerning this application; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an Environmental Impact Report was prepared in conjunction with the PUD <br />approval of the entire Hacienda Business Park and the proposed project is within <br />the scope of the EIR; therefore, no environmental document was prepared for this <br />application; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the subject plan meets or exceeds all <br />applicable requirements of the design guidelines established for the Hacienda <br />Business Park, and that the proposed development would be an attractive and <br />compatible addition to the Hacienda Business Park. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />Section 1. <br /> <br />Approves Case PUD-81-30-72D, the application of 1st United Services Credit <br />UnionlPrudential Insurance Company for design review approval to allow the <br />construction of a two-story, 20,046 square foot office building on a 1.80 acre <br />parcel ofland (portion of Site 35) in the Hacienda Business Park located at 5901 <br />Gibraltar Drive, subject to the conditions shown in Exhibit "B," attached hereto <br />and made part of this case by reference. <br /> <br />Section 2. <br /> <br />This resolution shall become effective 15 days after its passage and adoption unless <br />appealed prior to that time. <br />
