<br />PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANT ON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTlONNO. PC-97-76 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF MARY HARPSTER FOR A <br />NON-EXEMPT HOME OCCUPATION PERMIT, AS FILED UNDER CASE UP-97-55 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mary Harpster has applied for a non-exempt home occupation permit to provide <br />swim lessons at an existing residence located at 1045 Riesling Drive; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is R-1-6,500 District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its duly noticed public hearing of September 10, 1997, the Planning Commission <br />considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations of the City <br />staff concerning this application; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, projects of this nature are categorically exempt from the requirements of the <br />California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA); therefore, no environmental <br />document was prepared for this project. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the proposed use, as conditioned, is an <br />appropriate activity in a residential area and will be compatible with the <br />neighborhood. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOL YES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />Section 1. <br /> <br />Approves Case UP-97-55, the application of Mary Harpster for a non-exempt <br />home occupation permit to provide swim lessons at an existing residence located <br />at 1045 Riesling Drive, subject to the conditions shown in Exhibit "B," attached <br />hereto and made part of this case by reference. <br /> <br />Section 2. <br /> <br />This resolution shall become effective 15 days after its passage and adoption unless <br />appealed prior to that time. <br />
