Ordinance No. 210 providing traffic regulations, as aj~ended by ordinance no. 281, is hereby amended by changing Article VIII-A to read as follows: ARTICLE VIII-A Sec. 1. ~Lll highways or portion of highways described in this article are Truck Routes. Appropriate signs shall be erected and maintained indicating the direction truck traffic shall move at every intersection where moven~nt in another direction is prohibited. When signs are erected, giving notice of such Truck Routes, no person shall operate any motor truck upon any of the streets or high- ways intersecting such Thick Route except that such motor trucks may be operated thereon for the purpose of delivering or picking up mater- ials or merchandise, and then only by entering such street or high~ay at the intersection nearest the point of delivery or pickup and pro- ceeding thereon no farther than the nearest Track Route intersection thereafter. None of the prohibitions described herein shall be in effect with respect to any street or highway unless nor until the appropriate signs described. above have been erected. The term "motor truck" as used in this article shall be defined to be all trucks or vehicles used for hauling personal property, of the ~ (~) ton capacity or greater. Sec. 2. This ordinance shall be published one time in the Pleasanton Times,~ a newspaper of general circulation, and shall be effective thirty t30) days from date of adoption.
