Attachment 1 <br />SECOND AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT BETWEEN PLEASANTON <br />UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT AI\D CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />This Second to the Agreement (collectively the "Agreement) is entered into <br />thislst day of 2025 by and between the Pleasanton Unified School <br />District, P (hereinafter referred to as "DISTRICT") and the City of <br />Pleasanton, a municipal corporation (hereinafter referred to as "CITY"). <br />WIIEREAS, on November 22,2021,the CITY and DISTRICT entered into an <br />agreement to allocate a total of two officer positions to the School Resource Officer <br />Program; <br />WIIEREAS' the original agreement was for a term beginning on July 1,2021, and ending <br />on June 30,2024; and <br />\ryHEREAS, on June 78,2024,the CITY and DISTRICT agreed to an amendment, adding <br />an additional year and extending the through June 30, 2025; and <br />WHEREAS, on August28,2023, the DISTRICT's address to receive written <br />communications was relocated to 5758 W. Las Positas Blvd, Pleasanton, CA 94588; and <br />WHEREAS, the CITY and DISTRICT wish to extend the term of the Agreement to June <br />30,2027, and update the address to which the DISTRICT receives written communications. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the parties to this Agreement do mutually agree as follows <br />1. Section D of the Agreement, "TERM," is amended to read: <br />The term of this Agreement is six years, beginning July 1, 202l,through June 30,2027 <br />(fiscal year for both parties). Police services at the above schools will be provided during the <br />school year, including summer school sessions. <br />This Agreement shall expire on June 30, 2027 . Any continuation of the School Resource <br />Officer Program after June 30,2027 , shall require a new agreement between the parties. <br />This Agreement may be terminated with thirty (30) days' notice, in writing, by either the <br />CITY or the DISTRICT. <br />2. Section B of the Agreement, "AGREEMENT ADMINISTRATOR," is amended to <br />update the DISTRICT's address as follows: <br />Written communication to the DISTRICT shall be sent to <br />Office of the Superintendent or Designee <br />5758 W.
