Sequoia <br />understands that the East Bay hills are considered to be one of the highest fire risk areas in California, <br />with the potential for devastation exacerbated by their proximity to the wildland-urban interface. To <br />reduce the risk of fire within Alameda County, the City of Pleasanton (the City, Client) provides a <br />proactive approach to mitigating the impacts resulting from wildfires by reducing fuels in the Project <br />area through use of the California Vegetation Treatment Program Project-Specific Analysis (CalVTP PSA). <br />Sequoia previously submitted a scope and provided a cost estimate for a PSA and addendum to support <br />the City's CalVTP project. Subsequently, Sequoia was asked for a quote to perform protocol-level <br />special-status plant surveys to support the Project.
