PC-97-64 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION FINDING THE PUD PLAN FOR SECURITY CAPITAL PACIFIC <br />TRUSTIPRUDENTIAL INSURANCE COMPANY OF AMERICA, AS FILED UNDER <br />CASE PUD-81-30-7ID, IS CONSISTENT WITH THE GENERAL PLAN AND THE <br />PURPOSES OF THE PUD ORDINANCE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Security Capital Pacific TrustIPrudential Insurance Company of America have <br />applied for Planned Unit Development (PUD) plan approval to construct a <br />540-unit apartment complex (Hacienda Park), located on an approximately 26.5 <br />acre site (Lot 60, Hacienda Business Park) generally located south of the <br />intersection of Hacienda and Owens Drives; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development) - HDR (High <br />Density Residential) District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the proposed project is covered by the existing Negative Declaration for this site <br />previously approved by the City Council; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its duly noticed public hearing of August 13, 1997, the Planning Commission, <br />considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations of the <br />City staff concerning this application; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the proposed PUD plan approval to construct <br />a 540-unit apartment complex (Hacienda Park), located on an approximately 26.5 <br />acre site (Lot 60, Hacienda Business Park) generally located south of the <br />intersection of Hacienda and Owens Drives is consistent with the General Plan <br />and the purposes ofthe PUD ordinance. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLYES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />Section J. <br /> <br />Finds that the proposed PUD plan approval to construct a 540-unit apartment <br />complex (Hacienda Park), located on an approximately 26.5 acre site (Lot 60, <br />Hacienda Business Park) generally located south of the intersection of Hacienda <br />and Owens Drives is consistent with the General Plan and the purposes of the <br />PUD ordinance. <br /> <br />Section 2. <br /> <br />This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br />
