<br />PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-97-59 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF BLACK MOUNTAIN <br />DEVELOPMENT FOR A ONE-YEAR EXTENSION OF VESTING TENTATIVE TRACT <br />MAP 6581 (CASTLEWOOD HEIGHTS) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Vesting Tentative Map 6581 (Castlewood Heights), to allow the subdivision of an <br />approximately 18.6 acre site into 29 single-family residential lots located generally <br />south ofSunol Boulevard, west of the Carriage Garden/Rose Pointe <br />neighborhood, north of Happy Valley Road, and east ofInterstate 680 was <br />approved by the Planning Commission on October 28, 1992; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Tentative Map is scheduled to expire on October 28, 1997, unless a final map <br />is approved prior to that date; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Black Mountain Development has applied for a one-year time extension of Vesting <br />Tentative Map 6581; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development) - LDR (Low Density <br />Residential) District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its duly noticed public hearing ofJune 25, 1997, the Planning Commission <br />considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and reconunendations of the City <br />staff concerning this application; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, projects of this nature are categorically exempt from the requirements of the <br />California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA); therefore, no environmental <br />document was prepared for this project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that proposed tentative map extension would <br />not change any of the previous tentative map or PUD development plan conditions <br />of approval; and, therefore, the one-year time extension is acceptable. <br />
