ORDINANCE NO. 2295 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON AMENDING CHAPTERS 1.04 GENERAL PROVISIONS, 2.34 LIBRARY COMMISSION, 3.32 ALTERNATIVE BIDDING PROCEDURES UNDER THE UNIFORM PUBLIC CONSTRUCTION COST ACCOUNTING ACT, 7.20 VICIOUS DOGS, 9.14 STORMWATER MANAGEMENT AND DISCHARGE CONTROL, 13.08 PARKS AND RECREATION FACILITIES, 14.04 REGULATION OF WATER SYSTEM, 18.36 RM MULTI -FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICTS, AND 18.68 PUD PLANNED URBAN DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT WHEREAS, on an annual basis multiple amendments are proposed for the Pleasanton Municipal Code to make changes to align with evolving state law, clarify terms contained within the Municipal Code, as well as to reflect actual city practices; and WHEREAS, such amendment to the Pleasanton Municipal Code is necessary to reflect requirements under state law, reflect actual city practices, and provide clarity to the amended sections of the Pleasanton Municipal Code. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. the City of Pleasanton's Municipal Code is hereby amended as set forth in the attached Exhibit A. SECTION 2. A summary of this ordinance shall be published once within fifteen (15) days after its adoption in "The Valley Times," a newspaper of general circulation published in the City of Pleasanton, and the complete ordinance shall be posted for fifteen (15) days in the City Clerk's office within fifteen (15) days after its adoption. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) days after its passage and adoption.
