<br />PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-97-54 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION FINDING THE PROPOSED CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM <br />1997-98 THROUGH 2001-02 CONSISTENT WITH THE GENERAL PLAN AND <br />RECOMMENDING PRIORITIES FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM <br />FUNDING <br /> <br />WHEREAS, one of the duties of the Planning Commission is to investigate and make <br />recommendations to the City Council regarding the means for implementing the <br />General Plan so that it will serve as an effective guide for the efficient expenditure <br />of public funds relating to the subjects addressed in the General Plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its duly noticed public hearing of June 11, 1997, the Planning Commission <br />considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations of the City <br />staff concerning the proposed Capital Improvement Program for 1997-98 through <br />2001-02; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission made the following finding: <br /> <br />The Five-Year Capital Improvement Program, as a whole and as individual <br />projects, is consistent with the General Plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the priorities recommended for funding <br />in the Five- Year Capital Improvement Program are appropriate. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />Section 1. Approves the Five- Year Capital Improvement Program for 1997-98 through 2001-02. <br /> <br />Section 2. Recommends to the City Council as the priorities for funding those projects identified <br />in the Five-Year Capital Improvement Program. <br /> <br />Section 3. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br />
