Events and Programs <br /> <br />Events and programs are an effective way to build community and enhance connectivity amongst <br />entrepreneurs. The focus of i-GATE’s events and programs is to facilitate shared learning and <br />network building opportunities for local entrepreneurs. <br /> <br />i-GATE will: <br />• Design and execute events that are valuable and relevant to local entrepreneurs, with an <br />emphasis on important local industries, such as the Tri-Valley Life Sciences Summit <br />• Coordinate with economic development staff to identify possible venues for hosting <br />events. <br />• Identify speakers and other resources to participate in the events. <br />• Conduct financial management of the events. <br /> <br />The City of Pleasanton will: <br />• Work with i-GATE staff to identify focus areas for individual events programs. <br />• Promote and solicit attendance at the events. <br />• Identify speakers and other resources to participate in the events. <br /> <br />Term <br /> <br />The term of this agreement shall be for one (1) year, commencing on July 1, 2024, and will remain <br />in effect until June 30, 2025.
