<br />PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-97-50 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR THE <br />APPLICATION OF THE PEGASUS GROUP, AS FILED UNDER CASE PUD-97-06 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Pegasus Group has applied for Planned Unit Development (PUD) plan approval <br />to construct a self-storage facility consisting of five self-storage buildings and an <br />office/resident manager's unit totaling 72,550 square feet located on the north side <br />of Stanley Boulevard between Valley Avenue and Reflections Drive; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (planned Unit Development) - C (Commercial) <br />District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated <br />April 21, 1997, and received the recommendations of staff; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of June 11, 1997, the Planning Commission received a proposed <br />negative declaration prepared for Case PUD-97-06; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the public was given the <br />opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts ofthe proposal; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with <br />the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that approval of the proposed project would not <br />have any significant adverse effects on the environment. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />Section 1. Recommends approval of the Negative Declaration prepared for Case PUD-97-06, the <br />application of the Pegasus Group for Planned Unit Development (PUD) plan approval <br />to construct a self-storage facility consisting of five self-storage buildings and an <br />office/resident manager's unit totaling 72,550 square feet located on the north side of <br />Stanley Boulevard between Valley Avenue and Reflections Drive. <br /> <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br />
