PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. PC-97-49 RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE APPLICATION OF HACIENDA OWNERS ASSOCIATION FOR A MAJOR MODIFICATION TO THE HACIENDA PUD DEVELOPMENT PLAN CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL, AS FILED UNDER CASE PUD-81-30-38M AND PUD-85-8-15M WHEREAS, Hacienda Owners Association has applied for a major modification to the Hacienda PUD development plan conditions of approval to allow the elimination of the air, noise, and water quality monitoring requirements for the Hacienda Business Park; and WHEREAS, at its duly noticed public hearing of May 28, 1997, the Planning Commission, after considering all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations of the City staff concerning this application, recommended approval of the proposed negative declaration for Case PUD-81-30-38M and PUD-85-8-15M; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that because approximately 80% of the Hacienda Business Park is built-out, it is appropriate to modify the conditions of approval requiring noise and water quality monitoring to allow site-specific monitoring; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission also determined that due to the uncertainty as to what would be developed for the remaining 20% of the Park, and also concern about the impact of proposed residential development, the requirements for the air quality monitoring should not be modified. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: Section 1. Recommends approval of Case PUD-81-30-38M and PUD-85-8-15M, the application of Hacienda Owners Association for a major modification to the Hacienda PUD development plan conditions of approval to allow the elimination of the noise and water quality monitoring requirements for the Hacienda Business Park, subject to the conditions shown in Exhibit "B," attached hereto and made part of this case by reference. ~----r--~"--"'---'-'--',-----, ----,.----- __,._____._
