<br />PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-97-4l <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DENYING THE APPLICATION OF PATRICK CURRIN FOR A PUD <br />DEVELOPMENT PLAN MODIFICATION TO ALLOW A CARETAKER <br />RESIDENCE TO BE ESTABLISHED WITHIN AN EXISTING BUILDING, AS FILED <br />UNDER CASE PUD-85-15-7M <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Patrick Currin has applied for a PUD development plan modification to allow a <br />caretaker residence to be established within an existing building located at 1780 <br />Foothill Road (the Bernal Adobe); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is Planned Unit Development (PUD) - Low Density <br />Residential (LDR) District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its duly noticed public hearing of May 14, 1997, the Planning Commission, <br />considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations of the <br />City staff concerning this application; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, projects of this nature are categorically exempt from the requirements of the <br />California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA); therefore, no environmental <br />document was prepared for this project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that due to the denial ofCase-UP-96-08, the <br />application of Patrick Currin for a conditional use permit to allow the <br />establishment of a special events/conference center within the Bernal Adobe, there <br />was no basis for the PUD development plan modification application. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />Section 1. <br /> <br />Denies Case PUD-85-15- 7M, the application of Patrick Currin for a PUD <br />development plan modification to allow a caretaker residence to be established <br />within an existing building located at 1780 Foothill Road (the Bernal Adobe). <br /> <br />Section 2. <br /> <br />This resolution shall become effective 15 days after its passage and adoption <br />unless appealed prior to that time. <br />
