The applicant shall post address numerals on the front or primary entrance for all buildings so as to be plainly visible from all adjoining streets or driveways during both daylight and night time hours. Minimum size shall be 6 in. high by I in. stroke. 50. The development shall meet all requirements of the Pleasanton Fire Code (Chapter 20.24 of the Pleasanton Municipal Code). 51. The site shall be kept free of fire hazards from the start of construction to final inspection. 52. The applicants shall install two on-site fire hydrants located on either side of the main building. Approval for the specific location of fire hydrants shall be subject to the approval of the Fire Chief and the City Engineer. 53. Trash enclosures which are sized to contain dumpsters with an individual capacity of 1.5 cubic yards located within five feet of combustible walls, openings, or combustible roof eaves shall be provided with an automatic fire sprinkler system. 54. The applicant shall ensure that fire protection facilities, including all surface roads, fire hydrants, and a water supply capable of furnishing the required fire flow shall be installed and serviceable prior to and during the time of construction. When alternate methods of protection are as approved by the Fire Chief, this requirement may be waived or modified. Proposed alternative methods of fire protection shall be submitted, in writing, to the Fire Chief. Work on the alternative fire protection methods shall not start without the approval of the Fire Chief. 55. All roads on the site are designated as fire apparatus access roads by the Fire Chief and must be maintained in accordance with Section 10.201 of the Uniform Fire Code and be accessible at all times from the start of construction until the project is completed. 56. Curbs within the project site must be painted red and "No Parking - Fire Lane" signs provided as required by the vehicle code. 57. Each electronically controlled gate shall have Knox Box gate key override switches at the building and at the control access panel. Police 58. If required by the Police Department, the building(s) shall be equipped with an alarm system, the type to be approved by the Police Department; this system shall be installed prior to occupancy of the building.
