Page 1 of 1 <br />Attachment 1 <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />A RESOLUTION EXTENDING THE PLEASANTON CITY EMPLOYEES <br />ASSOCIATION, AFSCME LOCAL 955, AFL-CIO MEMORANDUM OF <br />UNDERSTANDING FOR THE TERM OF APRIL 1, 2022, THROUGH <br />MARCH 31, 2025, FOR TWO MONTHS, ENDING MAY 31, 2025. <br />WHEREAS, the Memorandum of Understanding between the City of Pleasanton and the <br />Pleasanton City Employees Association, AFSCME Local 955 expired on March 31, 2025; and <br />WHEREAS, representatives from Pleasanton City Employees Association, AFSCME <br />Local 955 and representatives from the City of Pleasanton require additional time to meet and <br />confer to prepare a successor agreement. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br />RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: <br />SECTION 1. Approve and authorize the City Manager to execute the extension of the <br />Memorandum of Understanding between the City of Pleasanton and the Pleasanton City <br />Employees Association, AFSCME Local 955 for the term commencing April 1, 2022, through <br />March 31, 2025, for two months, ending May 31, 2025. <br />SECTION 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and <br />adoption. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton at <br />a regular meeting held on April 8, 2025. <br />I, Jocelyn Kwong, City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton, California, certify that the foregoing <br />resolution was adopted by the City Council at a regular meeting held on the 8th day of April <br />2025, by the following vote: <br />Ayes: <br />Noes: <br />Absent: <br />Abstain: <br />_____________________________ <br />Jocelyn Kwong, City Clerk <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br />_______________________________ <br />Daniel G.
