Selection of Vice Chair for 2025 Chair February 12, 2025 <br /> <br /> <br /> Planning Commission <br />Agenda Report <br /> February 12, 2025 <br /> Item 5 <br /> <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Continued from January 22, 2025 - Election of Planning Commission Vice <br />Chair for 2025 <br /> <br /> <br />Pleasanton Municipal Code Section 2.30.070 describes the organization of the Planning <br />Commission. <br /> <br />Per Section 2.30.070, the Commission shall, each December, elect a Chair and a Vice Chair <br />by majority vote. Commissioners may serve no more than two consecutive full terms as <br />chairperson of the commission. <br /> <br />At its December 11, 2024, meeting, the Planning Commission elected Commissioner Anurag <br />Jain as Vice Chair by unanimous vote. <br /> <br />On January 1, 2025, Vice Chair Jain submitted his formal resignation from the Vice Chair <br />position to staff via email. Accordingly, the Planning Commission is requested to consider and <br />elect a new Vice Chair for the current term of service, effective January 1 to December 31, <br />2025. <br />
