Therefore, staff believes this finding can be <br />made. <br /> <br />Section 2: Findings for Design Review Approval <br />With respect to the approval of the Design Review (Case P24-0493), the Planning Commission <br />has considered each of the nine criteria set forth in Section 18.20.030 of the Pleasanton <br />Municipal Code. With respect to the criteria relevant to the scope of this application (Criteria 2, <br />3, and 7), the Planning Commission finds that the minor exterior changes proposed, the 405- <br />square-foot entryway addition, would be harmonious and of a design compatible with the <br />existing building and aesthetics of the Pleasanton Park development (Criteria 2 and 3), and <br />would be of an architectural style appropriate to the building and its surrounding (Criteria 7). <br />The project would therefore meet the purpose of Design Review t o preserve and enhance the <br />city’s aesthetic values. <br /> <br /> <br />Section 3: <br />The Planning Commission hereby approves the following for Joyful Church: 1) a Conditional <br />Use Permit (Case P24-0492) to operate a religious facility for up to 250 members; and 2) <br />Design Review (Case P24-0493) to construct an approximately 405-square-foot lobby <br />entrance, parking lot modifications, and related site improvements at an existing building at <br />6111 Johnson Court, subject to the Conditions of Approval shown in Attachment 1, attached <br />hereto and incorporated herein by reference. <br /> <br />Section 4: <br />Unless a timely appeal is filed or the city council elects to review the decision of the <br />commission, the decision shall be effective on the later of the following: 1) the day following the <br />first meeting of the city council after the council has received notice of the decision; or 2) the <br />day after expiration of the 15-day appeal period.
