<br /> Bicycle, Pedestrian & Trails <br />Committee Meeting <br />Agenda Report <br /> January 27, 2025 <br /> <br />Item 4 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />SUBJECT: SELECTION OF BPTC CHAIR AND VICE-CHAIR FOR 2025 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />SUMMARY <br />At the first scheduled BPTC meeting each year, the committee is asked to appoint a <br />Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson for the current year. Below is a summary of Section 8 of the <br />current resolution (Resolution No. 2024-003) that defines the structure of the BPTC, which <br />pertains to committee officers: <br /> <br />Committee officers shall be selected and serve as follows: <br /> <br />a. The Committee by majority vote shall elect for a term of one year a chairperson and vice <br />chairperson from among its members. <br />b. The chairperson shall be responsible for the conduct of the meetings. <br />c. The vice chairperson shall act for the chairperson in the latter's absence. <br />d.
