A01100CA Page 1 of 3 <br />022014 ed. <br />Effective date of this Endorsement: <br />This Endorsement is attached to and forms a part of Policy Number: <br /> referred to in this endorsement as either the “Insurer” or the <br />“Underwriters” <br />CALIFORNIA AMENDATORY ENDORSEMENT <br />This endorsement modifies insurance provided under the following: <br />BEAZLEY SPECIFIED PROFESSIONS PROFESSIONAL LIABILITY <br />1. Clause III. THE INSURED AND THE INSURED ORGANIZATION, paragraph G., is replaced by the <br />following: <br />G. The lawful spouse, including any natural person qualifying as a domestic partner under the <br />provisions of any applicable federal, state, or local law in the United States, of any Insured, but <br />solely by reason of any act, error or omission of an Insured other than such spouse or domestic <br />partner. The term spouse shall also include a registered domestic partner under California law. <br />2. Clause VI. DEFINITIONS, paragraph K. Damages, item 6.is replaced by the following: <br />6.punitive or exemplary damages; <br />3. Clause XIV. CANCELLATION, paragraph B.is replaced by the following: <br />B. 1. If this Policy has been in effect for less than sixty (60) days, it may be cancelled by the <br />Underwriters by mailing or delivering to the first Named Insured and producer of record, if <br />any, written notice stating when, not less than sixty (60) days thereafter, such cancellation <br />shall be effective. However, if the Underwriters cancel this Insurance because the Insured <br />has failed to pay a premium when due, this Policy may be cancelled by the Underwriters by <br />mailing or delivering to the first Named Insured and producer of record, if any, written notice <br />stating when, not less than ten (10) days thereafter, such cancellation shall be effective. <br />2. If this Policy has been in effect for more than sixty (60) days, or if this Policy is a renewal, the <br />Underwriters may only cancel for one or more of the following reasons: <br />(a) nonpayment of premium, including payment due on a prior policy issued by the <br />Underwriters and due during the current policy term covering the same risks; <br />(b) a judgment by a court or an administrative tribunal that the Named Insured has violated <br />any law of this state or of the United States having as one of its necessary elements an <br />act that materially increases any of the risks insured against; <br />(c) discovery of fraud or material misrepresentation by either of the following: <br />(1) The Insured or his or her representative in obtaining the insurance; or <br />(2) The Named Insured or his or her representative in pursuing a Claim under the <br />Policy; <br />(d) Discovery of willful or grossly negligent acts or omissions, or of any violations of state <br />laws or regulations establishing safety standards, by the Named Insured or his or her <br />representative, which materially increase any of the risks insured against; <br />Nov 5 2024 <br />V166IG24PNPM <br />Beazley Insurance Company, Inc. <br />Docusign Envelope ID: 1B65D8BB-306F-4CEA-97D4-8D9BBCF94581
