RESOLUTION NO. 2024-071 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> ACCEPTING THE FY 2023124 YEAR-END OPERATING BUDGET, APPROVING <br /> BUDGET AMENDMENTS IN MULTIPLE FUNDS, AND DESIGNATING GENERAL <br /> FUND RESERVES <br /> WHEREAS, each year a report of financial condition of the Operating Budget is presented <br /> to the City Council; and <br /> WHEREAS, staff presented to the City Council such a report for the fiscal year ending <br /> June 30, 2024. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: <br /> SECTION 1. It accepts the June 30, 2024 Fund Balances as shown in Exhibit A. <br /> SECTION 2. It designates General Fund Reserves for existing and future unknown obligations <br /> as shown in the Exhibit for all funds and as follows for the General Fund. <br /> SECTION 3. It allocates transfers from the General Fund to multiple funds as follows: <br /> $2,000,000 to the Rainy Day Fund; $1,500,000 to the General Liability Fund; $1,400,000 to the <br /> Facility Renovation Fund; $1,000,000 to the Information Technology Replacement & <br /> Replacement Fund; $800,000 to the Storm Drain Fund; $500,000 to the Workers' Compensation <br /> Fund; $500,000 to the Park Median Replacement Fund; $200,000 to the Traffic Signal Repair & <br /> Replacement Fund. Additionally, it also adjusts contributions to the two Livermore-Pleasanton <br /> Fire Department (LPFD) Funds: $939,266 to the LPFD Workers' Compensation Fund and <br /> $150,000 to the LPFD Equipment Reserve Fund. <br /> SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this resolution and enter it into the <br /> book of original resolutions. <br /> PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton at <br /> a regular meeting held on the 19th day of November 2024. <br /> I, Jocelyn Kwong, City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton, California, certify that the foregoing <br /> resolution was adopted by the City Council at a regular meeting held on 1911 day of November, <br /> 2024, by the following vote: <br /> Ayes: Councilmembers Arkin, Balch, Nibert, Testa, Mayor Brown <br /> Noes: None <br /> Absent: None <br /> Abstain: None <br /> Jo yn Kw ng, ity Clerk <br /> APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> Daniel G.
