RESOLUTION NO. 2024-070 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON APPROVING THE REVISED INVESTMENT POLICY DOCUMENTS FOR THE CITY'S PARS SECTION 115 PENSION TRUST FUND WHEREAS, at the June 5, 2018, meeting, the Council approved the investment strategies for a conservative portfolio and a capital growth custom portfolio for the City's PARS Section 115 Pension Trust; and WHEREAS, as stated in the investment guidelines documents, HighMark Capital Management (HIGHMARK) is the investment management firm for the City's trust accounts; and WHEREAS, due to the consolidation of HighMark and PFM Asset Management (PFMAM), the same investment management team will continue to serve in the same capacity but will now operate under PFMAM; and WHEREAS, PFMAM has requested that the City approve the revised investment policy documents for both portfolios; and WHEREAS, staff is recommending approval of the investment policy documents attached to the resolution. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: SECTION 1. Adopt the investment policy documents as reflected in Exhibit A and Exhibit B. SECTION 2. City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this resolution and enter it into the book of original resolutions. PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton at a regular meeting held on November 19, 2024.
