CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, ALAMEDA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 04-095 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING AND APPROVING THE REPORT OF <br />THE PLEASANTON DOWNTOWN ASSOCIATION ADVISORY <br />BOARD AND LEVYING THE ANNUAL ASSESSMENT FOR 2005 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City of Pleasanton has heretofore established a Downtown Pleasanton <br />Business Improvement District, the purposes and boundaries of which are set forth <br />in Chapter 5.28 of the Pleasanton Municipal Code; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has heretofore appointed a Pleasanton Advisory Board for <br /> the Downtown Pleasanton Business Improvement District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />said Advisory Board has prepared a report for 2005, which report is on file with <br />the City Clerk, which report satisfies the statutory requirements of Streets and <br />Highways Code, §36533 and which report is attached to this resolution; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing was held as provided in § 36534 of the Streets and Highway <br /> Code. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br />The report of the Advisory Board is approved and the assessment as set forth in <br />the attached report is levied for 2005. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
