City Council Minutes Page 2 of 3 September 17, 2024 <br />Community Development <br />2.Actions of the Zoning Administrator and Planning Commission <br />Recommendation: Approve actions of the Zoning Administrator and Planning <br />Commission. <br />Finance <br />3.Accept the monthly disbursement and investment report for July 2024 <br />Recommendation: Accept claim disbursements in the amount of $35,781,443 and <br />the investment report for the month of July 2024. <br />MEETING OPEN TO THE PUBLIC <br />4.Presentation of a proclamation recognizing September 17-23, 2024 as Constitution <br />Week <br />Councilmember Balch presented the proclamation to recipient Jill Z. representing <br />the Daughters of the American Revolution. <br />5.Public Comment regarding items not listed on the agenda – Speakers are limited to <br />3 minutes. <br />Mayor Brown opened public comment. The following individuals provided <br />comment: Marti Sutton, Christine Bourg, Vicki LaBarge, Doug Miller, Linda <br />Garbarino, TJ McGrath and Craig Freeman. <br />Mayor Brown closed the public comment. <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS AND OTHER MATTERS <br />6.Receive an Update on the City Budget <br />Recommendation: Receive an update on state of the City’s finances to prepare for <br />the development of the next two-year (FY 2025/26 and 2026/27) budget. <br />Presentation by Susan Hsieh, Finance Director and Gerry Beaudin, City Manager. <br />Mayor Brown opened public comment.
