City Council Minutes Page 4 of 6 March 5, 2024 <br />Recommendation: Approve the third amendment to the as-needed maintenance <br />and trade services agreement for Shape, Inc. for utilities sewer and storm <br />maintenance and pump repairs by increasing the total amount by $100,000 and <br />extending the term to June 30, 2025, through Fiscal Year 2024/2025 for a total not- <br />to-exceed amount of $425,000 over a five-year term <br />11.Review the bandstand options for Lions Wayside Park and provide direction to <br />proceed with the staff recommendation of Option 1 <br />Recommendation: Review the bandstand options for Lions Wayside Park and <br />provide direction to proceed with the staff recommendation of Option 1. <br />MEETING OPEN TO THE PUBLIC <br />12.Presentation of a Proclamation recognizing Pleasanton's 2024 Ambassadog <br />Councilmember Testa presented the proclamation which was received by the Burk <br />family on behalf of Ambassadog Winston. <br />13.Public Comment regarding items not listed on the agenda – Speakers are limited to <br />3 minutes. <br />Mayor Brown opened public comment. The following individuals provided <br />comment: Sharon Piekarski, David Herring, and Arne Olson. <br />Mayor Brown closed the public comment. <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS AND OTHER MATTERS <br />14.Receive a presentation on debt financing regarding interim water improvement projects <br />and adopt a resolution declaring the City's intention to reimburse expenditures relating <br />to capital improvement projects from the proceeds of tax-exempt obligations <br />Recommendation: Adopt Resolution No. 2024-012 declaring the City's intention to <br />reimburse expenditures relating to capital improvement projects from the proceeds of <br />tax-exempt obligations. <br />Susan Hsieh, Finance Director, and consultant Jaime Trejo presented the item and <br />answered questions. <br />Mayor Brown opened public comment. There being no speakers, Mayor Brown closed <br />the public comment. <br />MOTION: It was m/s by Nibert/Testa to approve the item as recommended.
