FEE SCHEDULE / MANNER OF PAYMENT <br />In consideration of the work accomplished, as outlined in the Work Plan, SCI shall be compensated as <br />detailed below. Our professional fees are based on our understanding of the City's needs and the level of <br />effort we expect is necessary to complete the Work Plan successfully. <br />After completing each task, SCI shall submit an invoice for the work performed. Mileage expenses shall be billed at the <br />IRS-approved rate. <br />1 Work Plan assumes the LLMD engineer reports and associated ballot proceedings would occur concurrently. Work Plan <br />include two (2) in-person meetings for Task 2 and four in-person meetings for Task 3. <br />PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT <br />SCI has reviewed and accepts the terms of the City's standard Professional Services Agreement and will <br />enter into such an agreement if selected. However, SCI will require recognition as a design professional <br />for indemnification purposes. In accordance with California Civil Code Section 2782.8, SCI will defend and <br />indemnify the City against claims arising from, related to, or connected with SCI's negligence, recklessness, <br />or willful misconduct in the performance of the work. <br />Page 36 of 90
