<br /> <br /> <br />3-3 <br /> <br />Pleasanton Parks and Recreation Master Plan <br />Section Three – Recreation Programming Recommendations 2014 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />3.3 Program Needs Assessment <br /> <br />In the Master Plan process, a variety of methods and processes were utilized in obtaining public input. <br />The data derived from the public input process was the foundation upon which the program analysis <br />and recommendations were developed. Those methods included: <br /> <br /> Trends and Implications Analysis: National, State and local trends and recreation implications are <br />discussed <br /> Community Outreach: Information gathered from Pleasanton residents through a variety of <br />methods including: three (3) workshops; workshop participant questionnaires; sports and <br />community organization questionnaires; and key informant/stakeholder interviews <br /> Community‐Wide Telephone Survey: The community‐wide random sample survey provides current, <br />statistically valid information specific to Pleasanton that provides detailed information on the types <br />of recreation programs most often utilized by Pleasanton residents.
