Construction Notice Department
P.O. Box 1389
Simi Valley, CA 93062
Address Service Requested
6/9/2025
City Of Pleasanton
Po Box 520
Pleasanton, CA 94566
glplplml81NINaIIIIR
9314 8898 8030 0080 9814 69
SIT707 16748549
IMPORTANT NOTICE PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
Enclosed you will find a notice that is being sent to you on behalf of SiteOne Landscape Supply in
regards to the construction project known as Lion Wayside Park 1579865-3004 and located at 4401
First St, Pleasanton, CA 94566.
Please be aware that this Preliminary Notice is NOT a lien, nor is it a reflection on the integrity or
credit standing of any of the participants in this construction project. Any supplier to your
project, including SiteOne Landscape Supply, is required by law to send you this notice in order
to secure the supplier's right to collect for materials supplied.
A Preliminary Notice contains important information that can help you reduce your risk of having to
double pay for any portion of your construction project. Here's one example of that risk: even if you
have paid your contractor in full, if your contractor or one of its subcontractors fails to pay a supplier for
materials used on your project, that supplier can enforce mechanic's lien rights against your property.
Common methods to avoid construction liens: There are several methods available to protect your
property from construction liens. The following are two of the more commonly used methods:
1. Joint Checks: When paying your contractor for services or materials, you may make checks
payable jointly to the contractor and the supplier.
2. Lien Waivers: You may require your contractor to provide waivers signed by all the suppliers
and subcontractors from whom you have received this notice. If they cannot obtain lien waivers
because you have not paid them, you may use the joint check method to protect yourself.
If any information is incorrect, or if you are not associated with this job, please contact SiteOne
Landscape Supply.
