EXHIBIT A
CITY OF PLEASANTON
HOUSING & HUMAN SERVICES GRANT (HHSG) PROGRAM
BETWEEN
CITY OF PLEASANTON
AND
Goodness Village
JULY 1, 2024 THROUGH JUNE 30, 2025
Project No. 2024595
Goodness Village
The project to be undertaken by Goodness Village shall involve:
The funds awarded will be utilized to continue employing a full-time staff member to support the 24/7 supportive
housing program for 28 formerly chronically unsheltered neighbors, including 9 individuals specifically from the City
of Pleasanton. This staff member, compensated at $24 per hour, will provide direct support, case management, and
coordination of services to ensure the safety and well-being of residents. The grant will cover the staff member's
salary, payroll taxes, worker’s compensation, health insurance, and professional development, ensuring
comprehensive support for both the staff and the residents. Previously funded by the same grant last year, this
ongoing initiative aims to enhance the stability and sustainability of the supportive housing program, fostering a
safer and more supportive environment for all the village neighbors.

The project shall conform substantially to the scope of work described above. [However, the targets and service
goals noted in the application may be adjusted proportionately to reflect a reduction in funding between the amount
requested and the amount approved.] Any request to modify the scope of the project shall be submitted to the City
of Pleasanton’s HHSG administrator in the form of a letter. Requests shall be processed as follows:
a) If the proposed change is in substantial conformance with the original project scope as determined by the
City’s HHSG program administrator, the change may be approved by City staff.
b) If the proposed change is in partial conformance with the original project scope as determined by the City’s
HHSG program administrator, the change will be submitted for review and approval by the City’s Human
Services Commission and/or Housing Commission.
c) If the proposed change is not in conformance with the original project scope as determined by the City’s
HHSG program administrator, the change will be submitted for review and approval by the City’s Human
Services Commission and/or Housing Commission and then submitted for approval by HUD in the form of a
change to the Annual Action Plan.
Page 7

Docusign Envelope ID: 7E79B3AE-3519-40C5-91BA-455EE24E6872
