Attached i a bid guaranty bond duly completed by a guaranty compan authorized to carry on business in the State of California in the amount of at least ten percent ( 10%) of the total amount of the bid or alternat ly, there is attached a certified or cashier's check payable to the City in the amount of at least ten percent ( 10%) of the total amount of the bid. If thi Bid Proposal is ace pted, bidder agrees to sign the contract and to furnish the performance bond, labor and materials bond, maintenance bond, and the required evidences of insurance within ten ( 10) working days aft r receiving writt n notice of the award of the contract. If bidder fai ls to contract as provided herein or fails to provide the bonds and/or evidence of insurance, the City may at its option, determine the acceptance thereof shall be null and void , and the forfeiture of such security accompanying this Bid Proposal shall operate and the same shall be the prope1ty of the ity of Pleasanton. This Bid Proposal shall be good and may not be modified , withdrawn or canceled for a period of ninety (90) calendar days after the date of the City's opening of bids. Bidder further agrees, if the bid is accepted and a contract for performance of the work is entered into with the ity, to so plan work and to prosecute it with such diligen e that the work shall be completed within the time stipulated in the agreement. Bidders are required by law to be licen ed and regulated by the contractors' State License Board . Any questions concerning a contractor may be referred to the Registrar, ontractors' State License Board.
