CONTRACT <br />Annual Court Resurfacing -Fairlands Park and Tennis & Community Park <br />Project No. 24744 <br />THIS CON T RACT is made and entered into this 3rd day of September, 2024 by <br />and between Silicon Valley Paving Company, ("Contractor"), whose address is I 050 <br />Commercial Street, # 101 , San Jose , CA 95112, and telephone number is ( 408) 286-910 I <br />and the CITY OF PLEASANTON, a municipal corporation ("City"). <br />W I T N E S S E T H: <br />WHEREAS , the City has awarded to the Contractor a contract for Annual Court <br />Resurfacing -Fairlands Park and Tennis & Community Park, Project No. 24744, <br />NOW , THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual promises set forth herein , <br />the parties agree as follows: <br />1. Work to be Performed. The work will generally consist of: <br />This work will consist of the demolition , court surface preparation , tree removal , and <br />erosion control at existing tennis courts , and the installation of new asphalt pavement, <br />concrete, trench drain , fencing , site furnishings , and acrylic paint and striping for tennis <br />and pickleball courts at Fairlands and Tennis & Community Parks. <br />The contractor or subcontractor performing the court resurfacing shall have resurfaced a <br />minimum of at least three (3) tennis or pickleball courts of 5,000 square feet or more in <br />the last five ( 5) years. <br />Said work is more particularly shown in the following documents which are on <br />file with the Public Works Department, Engineering Division of the City and are <br />incorporated herein by this reference: <br />A. Approved Plans and Specifications entitled the Annual Court <br />Resurfacing -Fairlands Park and Tennis & Community Park, <br />Project No. 24744, and addenda thereto , if any. <br />B. Contract Change Orders approved by the City Engineer, done in <br />accordance with the Standard Sp ecifications. <br />C. The elements of the proposal submitted to the City by the <br />Contractor, which the City has accepted. <br />2. Compensation. T he City shall pay the Contractor for work actually performed at <br />the unit prices set out in the Contractor's proposal to the City as set forth in <br />Exhibit A of this agreement and incorporated herein .
