RESOLUTION NO. 2024-057 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> APPROVING THE WASTE AND RECYCLING MANAGER POSITION AND <br /> AMENDING THE FY 2024/25 OPERATING BUDGET ACCORDINGLY <br /> WHEREAS, the City adopted the FY 2023/24 — FY 2024/25 Two-Year Operating and <br /> Capital Budget on June 6, 2023: and <br /> WHEREAS, at a public hearing on May 21, 2024 the City approved Mid-Term Operating <br /> and Capital Budget adjustments for FY 2024/25; and <br /> WHEREAS, at a public hearing on May 21, 2024, the City approved a cost-based Rate <br /> Adjustment for solid waste, recyclable materials, and organic materials collection for fiscal year <br /> 2024/25; and <br /> WHEREAS, including City of Pleasanton Staff costs in the amount of $500.000 <br /> was agreed upon as part of the approved cost-based Rate Adjustment, to support staff <br /> positions. including a new Waste and Recycling Manager position to oversee the City's waste <br /> and recycling program. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: <br /> SECTION 1. Amends the Mid-Term Operating Budget adjustments for FY 2024/25 to <br /> add a Waste and Recycling Manager position. <br /> SECTION 2. Updates the Salary Schedule to include salary information for the new <br /> Waste and Recycling Manager classification. <br /> SECTION 3.
