City Council Minutes Page 7 of 8 June 18, 2024 <br />MOTION: It was m/s byNibert/Balch to approve the item as recommended. Motion <br />passed by the following vote: <br />Ayes: Councilmembers Arkin, Balch, Nibert, Testa, Mayor Brown <br />Noes: None <br />Absent: None <br />3.Adopt and waive second reading of Ordinance No. 2282 approving the Sixth <br />Amendment to the Development Agreement for the Stoneridge Shopping Center, <br />located a1008 through 1700 Stoneridge Mall Road, governing a previously-approved <br />approximately 362,790 square-foot shopping center expansion to extend the term for six <br />months, with potential additional extensions of either 18 months or two years, and a <br />further potential extension of two years thereafter, subject to the completion of <br />performance standards as set forth in the proposed amendment <br />Recommendation: Adopt and waive second reading of Ordinance No. 2282 approving <br />the Sixth Amendment to the Development Agreement for the Stoneridge Shopping <br />Center, located at 1008 through 1700 Stoneridge Mall Road, governing a previously- <br />approved approximately 362,790 square-foot shopping center expansion to extend the <br />term for six months, with potential additional extensions of either 18 months or two <br />years, and a further potential extension of two years thereafter, subject to the <br />completion of performance standards as set forth in the proposed amendment <br />Mayor Brown opened public comment. The following individuals provided comment: <br />Mark Pleis, Cecily Barclay, Kameron Klotz. <br />Mayor Brown closed the public comment. <br />The City Council requested an informational update in 6 months on the progress of the <br />item. <br />MOTION: It was m/s by Brown/Testa to adopt the ordinance as recommended. Motion <br />passed by the following vote: <br />Ayes: Councilmembers Arkin, Balch, Nibert, Testa, Mayor Brown <br />Noes: None <br />Absent: None <br />MATTERS INITIATED BY COUNCIL <br />Councilmember Arkin requested to begin a conversation regarding the available <br />properties for housing projects originally in FY 25/26. <br />COUNCIL REPORTS <br />Councilmembers reported on local and regional meetings attended. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />Mayor Brown adjourned the meeting at 11:12 p.m. <br />Page 13 of 454
