Presentation by Alexa, Jeffress, Deputy City Manager Mayor Brown opened public comment. There being no speakers, Mayor Brown closed the public comment. 8. Adopt an Updated Resolution for Access to Augustin Bernal Park through Golden Eagle Estates and Rescind Resolution No. 93-44 Recommendation: Adopt Resolution No. 2024-041 for access to Augustin Bernal Park through Golden Eagle Estates and rescind Resolution No. 93-44. MOTION: It was m/s by Brown/Testa to adopt the resolution as recommended and to include the following modifications: provide an annual residency pass, add a$10 per week fee for non-resident passes, update the Management Plan section 3(a)(i) to read "Pleasanton School Student Identification Card" and request from Golden Eagle Estates an earlier opening access time of 7:00 a.m. described in section 2(a). Motion passed by the following vote Ayes: Councilmembers Arkin, Balch, Nibert, Testa, Mayor Brown Noes: None Absent: None MATTERS INITIATED BY COUNCIL Councilmember Balch requested an update by memorandum on the progress of economic development in the city, including city businesses and internal operations such as business permits. The City Manager agreed to provide a future update.
