City Council Minutes Page 1 of 6 May 21, 2024 <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />MINUTES <br />Tuesday, May 21, 2024 <br />7:00 PM <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Mayor Brown called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to order at the hour of 7:00 <br />p.m. from the Council Chamber located at 200 Old Bernal Avenue. <br />Councilmember Testa provided opening remarks. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Present: Councilmembers Arkin, Balch, Nibert, Testa, Mayor Brown <br />Absent: None. <br />REPORT ON CLOSED SESSION <br />City Attorney Sodergren stated there was no reportable action. <br />AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br />City Manager Beaudin stated staff amendments to the agenda included continuing item 6 <br />to the June 4, 2024 City Council meeting, and removing item 14 due to the recipient being <br />absent from the meeting. <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br />Councilmember Balch pulled item 4 from the consent calendar for further discussion. <br />MOTION: It was m/s by Arkin/Balch to approve the consent calendar as recommended <br />except for items 4 and 6. Motion passed by the following vote: <br />Ayes: Councilmembers Arkin, Balch, Nibert, Testa, Mayor Brown <br />Noes: None <br />Absent: None <br />Page 9 of 782
