STREET A: If Street A will be dedicated to the City as a public road, then it must be <br />constructed according to Pleasanton standards to accommodate public traffic and <br />minimize the City’s future maintenance burden. The City cannot maintain the “Decorative <br />Stamped Colored Asphalt Paving” shown on Sheets L2 and L3. The acceptable material <br />for public roadway surfacing is conventional hot mix asphalt. If the applicant elects to <br />install non-conventional paving materials, this pavement shall be privately maintained <br />according to an agreement/perpetual encroachment permit between the City and the <br />owner’s association. The landscaping and related features within the cul-de-sac island, as <br />shown on Sheet L3, shall be privately maintained according to an agreement/perpetual <br />encroachment permit between the City and the owner’s association. ANNEXATION AND RIGHT-OF-WAY DEDICATION ON FOOTHILL ROAD: Sufficient <br />right-of-way shall be irrevocably offered for dedication to the City pursuant to California <br />Government Code §7050 to accommodate the needed road widening contemplated in <br />the Fehr & Peers transportation assessment. Annexation of the property into the City of <br />Pleasanton shall also include the segment of Foothill Road (also described as County <br />Road 1933) that is currently within Alameda County abutting the property, comprising <br />approximately 275 linear feet of roadway extending between the current northern and <br />southern City limit line. at 3984 Foothill Road (APN 941-2100-2-7). (Address this <br />condition prior to approval of the final map) Project Specific Condition <br /> <br />49. DEMOLITION OF EXISTING HOME AT 4131 FOOTHILL ROAD: The proposed <br />demolition of the home at 4131 Foothill Road will necessitate termination of the existing <br />water service. The applicant shall contact the City’s Utilities Division for termination of <br />Account 6399-12000-01 together with removal of the 1” meter #55786233. Fee credit for <br />this water service can be applied to one of the proposed homes within the subdivision. <br />(Address this condition prior to issuance of a demolition permit) Project Specific <br />Condition <br /> <br />50. CORROSIVE SOIL: Section 7.13 of the Design Level Geotechnical Investigation by <br />Berlogar Stevens Associates indicates that soil samples were found to be “moderately <br />corrosive”. The report includes the following recommendation which shall be <br />implemented during development of the property: “All buried iro n, steel, cast iron, ductile <br />iron, galvanized steel and dielectric coated steel or iron should be properly protected <br />against corrosion depending upon the critical nature of the structure.
