CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, ALAMEDA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 04-069 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ABANDONMENT OF A PUBLIC SERVICE <br />EASEMENT ALONG THE EASTERLY PROPERTY LINE OF LOT 7, TRACT 4432 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in 1980, the City of Pleasanton approved Final Map 4432, Joshua's Landing - Unit 1 <br /> submitted by Ponderosa Homes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in 1981, the City accepted a grant of easement for public service purposes along the <br /> eastern 10 feet of Lot 7, Tract 4432; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City has determined the Public Service Easements along the easterly 10 feet of Lot 7, <br />Tract 4432 is not required; the property owner has requested the City to formally abandon <br />the easement. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br />The City Council herby approves the attached deed, abandoning the City's public service <br />along the easement easterly property line of Lot 7, Tract 4432, and authorizes the City <br />Manager to execute all necessary documents. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption. <br /> <br /> I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND REGULARLY <br />ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, AT A MEETING HELD <br />ON SEPTEMBER 21, 2004 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Mayor Pico <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />Councilmembers - Ayala, Brozosky, Campbell, and Hosterman <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO F,OR~M: ff <br /> <br />Michael H.
