Addendum No. 1 <br />May 14, 2024 <br />PL EASANTONc <br />ADDENDUM NO. 1 <br />PEST CONTROL MAINTENANCE SERVICES <br />Project No. PWD 24-408 <br />This Addendum is hereby made a part of the project contract documents. It shall be the responsibility <br />of the contractor to inform any affected sub-bidder of the content of this Addendum. Some of the <br />questions below are not necessarily changes to the original document and are listed for clarification <br />purposes. <br />The Contract documents are modified/clarified as follows: <br />General: <br />Ql. The current rodent stations boxes and are they owned or rented by the City. If rented how <br />many are requested. <br />a)The current rodent stations belong to the current contractor. Once these boxes are <br />removed, the City will _be requesting replacement boxes as needed by the City's <br />request. See the attached document for contractor to charge the City for materials <br />supplied by the Contractor with a mark up cost associated. <br />Q2. Will screen installation/physical barriers and maintenance be the responsibility of the <br />Contractor or will it be an additional price or at the monthly rate? <br />a)All screen maintenance or similar items will be the responsibility of the City, <br />however such issues or concerns shall be identified by the Contractor. <br />Q3. How many emergency call outs were handled by the previous contractor during the <br />duration of the current contract? <br />a)In the past five years, the City has had less than five call outs that were deemed <br />"Additional Services" but under the category of "Emergency Call Outs", which is <br />deemed after normal business hours, the City had zero emergency call outs during <br />the term of the contract. <br />Q4. Does the City want exterior bait stations at all locations? <br />a)No, the City will only require bait stations at certain locations upon request by the <br />City. Once contract is approved City staff will request site visits of all locations to <br />identify locations needing bait stations. These bait stations will be re-imbursed by <br />the City. <br />All other items of work in the contract document remain unchanged.
