Page 4 of 4 <br />By providing a wide variety of musical genres and performances at varying price points, the <br />City’s process for theater production strives to promote maximum use of and equitable access <br />to the City’s theaters by all community members. <br /> <br />OUTREACH <br />No outreach has been done in advance of this item. <br /> <br />STRATEGIC PLAN ALIGNMENT <br />This action advances the following Citywide goals and strategies: <br /> <br />ONE Pleasanton Citywide Strategic Plan: <br />• Funding Our Future, Strategy 1 - Develop a long-term strategy for funding operations <br />and maintenance needs to ensure the reliability of community-owned facilities and <br />infrastructure and continuity of City services <br />• Building A Community Where Everyone Belongs, Strategy 3 - Implement high-priority <br />items from the Library and Recreation Strategic Plan to continue to deliver activities and <br />programs that meet the needs and interests of the community. <br /> <br /> <br />FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> <br />$110,000 in funding for theater production services is included in the Civic Arts operational <br />budget 00150405-430101 for Fiscal Year (FY) 2024/25. The cost of the agreement is offset by <br />revenues the City receives from theater ticket sales.
