Resolution No. 2024-044 <br />Page 3 of 3 <br />SECTION 9. Immediately upon the adoption of this resolution, but in no event later than <br />August 10 following such adoption, the Engineer of Work shall file a certified copy of the diagram <br />and assessment and a certified copy of this resolution with the County Auditor. Upon such filing, <br />the County Auditor shall enter on the County assessment roll opposite each lot or parcel of land <br />the amount of assessment thereupon as shown in the assessment. <br />SECTION 10. The assessments shall be collected at the same time and in the same <br />manner as County taxes are collected and all laws providing for the collection and enforcement <br />of County taxes shall apply to the collection and enforcement of the assessments. After collection <br />by the County, the net amount of the assessments, after deduction of any compensation due the <br />County for collection, shall be paid to the Lighting & Landscape Maintenance District No. 1984-1 <br />Ponderosa -Del Prado. <br />SECTION 11. The moneys representing assessments collected by Alameda County shall <br />be deposited in the City Treasury to the credit of the special fund known as the "Lighting & <br />Landscape Maintenance District No. 1984-1 Ponderosa -Del Prado" previously established. <br />Moneys in the fund shall be expended only for the maintenance, servicing, construction or <br />installation of the improvements. <br />SECTION 12. The adoption of this resolution constitutes the continuation of assessments <br />for the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2024, and ending June 30, 2025. <br />SECTION 13. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption. City Clerk <br />shall certify to the passage of this resolution and enter it into the book of original resolutions. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton at <br />a regular meeting held on June 18, 2024. <br />I, Jocelyn Kwong, City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton, California, certify that the foregoing <br />resolution was adopted by the City Council at a regular meeting held on the 18' day of June 2024, <br />by the following vote: <br />Ayes: <br />Councilmembers Arkin, <br />Noes: <br />None <br />Absent: <br />None <br />Abstain: <br />None <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM <br />Daniel G.
