Exhibit A <br />Scope of Work <br />The Operations Services Department(OSD)is comprised of 7 divisions that provide a wide range of <br />maintenance and repair services for City owned assets. The OSD must meet compliance with both <br />General and Construction Industry requirements under the California Code of Regulations, Title 8. <br />Services may include work in the following areas: <br />Building maintenance <br />Carpentry work <br />Commercial vehicle operation <br />Confined space work(Water, Sanitary and Storm Sewer) <br />Disaster Response (Flooding, debris removal, etc.) <br />Electrical work(low and high voltage) <br />Environmental health services <br />Excavation work(Water, Sanitary and Storm Sewer) <br />Heavy equipment operation <br />Hot Work <br />Landscape maintenance and tree work <br />Machining <br />Plumbing work <br />Sidewalk and concrete work <br />Street paving,marking and signage. <br />Temporary Traffic Control <br />Vehicle maintenance <br />A. Safety Training-Provide virtual and practical staff training for the OSD Occupational Health <br />and Safety Program. <br />A.1 Provide a Learning Management System that allows employees to work <br />independently to complete required safety courses. The system should provide a means <br />for testing the participant's knowledge,providing a certificate of completion, and <br />administrative access to reporting. <br />A.2 Provide practical onsite (in-person) training as needed.
