Resolution No. 2024-041 <br />Page 2 <br />Exhibit A: Management Plan for Accessing Augustin Bernal Park <br />Through Golden Eagle Estates <br />Management Plan <br />The Augustin Bernal Park is accessed through a private community. Entrance to the <br />park is via a gate located at Golden Eagle way. The gate is manned by Golden Eagle <br />security guard 24 hours a day. <br />2. Park access will generally be limited to daylight hours: <br />a. Access to the park no earlier than 6:30am during the months of June, July and <br />August; no earlier than 7am during the months of April, May and September; and <br />no earlier than 7:30am the remainder of the months. <br />b. Closed no later than 7pm during the months of June, July, and August; no later <br />than 6pm the months of April, May and September; no later than 5pm the <br />remainder of the months. <br />3. City of Pleasanton residents must provide a driver's license or other qualifying proof of <br />residency at the guard at the gate for entrance to the park. <br />a. Qualifying proof of residency documents include the following: <br />i. Any Pleasanton School Student Identification Card; <br />ii. City of Pleasanton Employee Identification Card; or <br />iii. Photo I.D. indicating a Pleasanton address <br />iv. Annual Residency Pass (Annual Residency Pass is available through <br />pleasantonfun.com for Pleasanton residents who do not possess items i- <br />lii above). <br />4. Pleasanton residents are permitted a maximum of three additional guests per vehicle <br />5. Non -Residents must obtain a visitor pass for access to the park. The weekly pass can <br />be purchased at pleasantonfun.com. The fee for the pass is listed in the Master Fee <br />Schedule. <br />a. Non -Residents will present this visitor pass at the gate. <br />i. The visitor pass is a receipt from the Library and Recreation Department's <br />registration software that indicates the visitors name, address, and the <br />dates that the pass is valid. The pass will also include rules for the park <br />and a map showing the route from the guard office to the park. <br />ii. Non -Residents can print out the receipt to show at the guard office or <br />show the receipt on their mobile device to the guard to gain access to the <br />park. <br />6. Notwithstanding Sections 3, 4, and 5 above, residents and non-residents entering the <br />park by a bicycle shall enter through the vehicle lane at the guard office. <br />7. Notwithstanding Sections 3, 4, and 5 above, residents and non-residents entering the <br />park by the pedestrian path shall queue at the locked pedestrian gate and allow the <br />
