RESOLUTION NO. 2024-041 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON APPROVING <br />MANAGEMENT PLAN FOR ACCESSING AUGUSTIN BERNAL PARK THROUGH <br />GOLDEN ESTATES FARMS AND RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 93-44 <br />WHEREAS, on April 20, 1993, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 93-44 approving <br />a management plan for accessing Augustin Bernal Park through Golden Eagle Estates; <br />WHEREAS, a review of the existing resolution (No. 93-44) found that it is outdated and <br />does not reflect current standards and practices; <br />WHEREAS, on May 9, 2024, the Parks and Recreation Commission considered the <br />revision of Resolution 93-44 and adopted a resolution recommending changes to the City Council. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, <br />CALIFORNIA, DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1. Repeals Resolution No. 93-44 <br />SECTION 2. Establishes a management plan for accessing Augustin Bernal Park <br />pursuant to Exhibit "A", attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference. <br />SECTION 3. City staff and Golden Eagle HOA staff are instructed to carry out the <br />attached requirements in all administrative decisions affecting access to the park. <br />SECTION 4.
