RESOLUTION NO. 2024-024 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />AUTHORIZING THE FILING OF A CLAIM WITH THE ALAMEDA COUNTY <br />TRANSPORTATION COMMISSION (ACTC) FOR MEASURE BB FUNDS FOR FISCAL <br />YEAR 2024/25 <br />WHEREAS, Alameda County Measure BB provides for the distribution of funds from local <br />dedicated sales tax to provide special transportation for seniors and persons with disabilities; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Measure BB, a prospective claimant wishing to <br />receive an allocation from Alameda County shall file its claim with the Alameda County <br />Transportation Commission; and <br />WHEREAS, the claims propose to continue a current program utilizing existing equipment, <br />manpower, and routes, and proposes minor additional services and is, therefore, considered <br />exempt from the requirements of the California Environment Quality Act; and <br />WHEREAS, Measure BB funds will be required by the Pleasanton Rides service in Fiscal <br />Year 2024/25 for community transit services. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: <br />SECTION 1. Authorizes the City Manager or designee, to execute and file appropriate <br />claims pursuant to the terms of the Alameda County Measure BB, as amended, and pursuant to <br />applicable rules and regulations promulgated thereunder, together with all necessary supporting <br />documents, with ACTC for an allocation of Measure BB funds for Fiscal Year 2024/25. <br />SECTION 2.
