I am assigned seven parking spots, there is also at least fifteen unassigned parking spots in the
immediate parking lot, which is first come first served. This unit directly faces Quarry Lane which
offers at least 30 public street parking.
Please see attachment 1B

The operation will strictly be Judo instruction and training as it has been since 2009

The classes that I lead are technical lessons and students do not scream or shout, I currently operate
within the same complex and have never had any complaints.

I have spoken to only one tenant Ron Sutton from ACCUSPLIT 925 290-1900 the immediate
neighbor and he advised that his business hours are 6:30am-3:00pm Mon-Thur and appeared to
welcome me. The other two tenants are rarely on the property, and I only see workers using the back
roll up door to the warehouse.

On a personal note, I have lived in Pleasanton for almost 30 years. I have been married for 28 years
and am a father of three. All three of my children grew up in the Judo program. I am a retired Fire
Battalion Chief of 31+ years and Judo has always been a passion of mine. I have lived a life of service;
I would like to continue serving the youth as well as the adults of our community.

Thank you for your consideration.

Respectfully,

Kevin Butler
Tri-Valley Judo
