Location and Notification Map <br />STAFF RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends the Planning Commission approve the amendment to the original <br />Conditional Use Permit (CUP) application (PCUP-61), filed as P24-0127, based on the <br />required findings, and subject to the draft conditions of approval in Exhibit A. <br />EXECUTIVE SUMMARY <br />The applicant requests to expand the range of alcoholic beverages offered for sale at an <br />existing gas station market at 1875 Valley Avenue from the approved beer and wine to include <br />distilled spirits and ready-to-serve beverages. Concerns about alcohol sales and associated <br />late-night noise were expressed by neighbors of the property in March 2004 after the existing <br />gas station market began operating, and at a July 2004 public hearing, the Planning <br />Commission considered a request from neighbors to modify the Use Permit.
