<br />B-1 <br />APPENDIX B <br /> <br />DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT <br /> <br />The Project will consist of the following improvements, and any other improvements to <br />the Water System approved by the City Council. The improvements are generally described as <br />the “near-term water improvement projects,” including three pipelines and two turn-outs, <br />including improvements related to the following: <br /> <br />• Rebalance the system from loss of wells 5,6 & 8 <br />• Meet forecasted demands until new wells are online in 2028 <br />• Increase capacity at Turnouts #1 and #4 <br />• Required improvements identified in Water Supply Alternatives study for all options <br />• Address deficiencies identified in capacity analysis <br />• Upsize lines to accommodate existing lines near end of life
