Mayor Brown opened public comment. The following individuals provided comment: <br /> Amanda Brown, Andrea Wilson. <br /> Mayor Brown closed the public comment. <br /> Mayor Brown called a recess at 9:24 p.m. and reconvened at 9:32 p.m. <br /> MOTION: It was m/s by Arkin/Brown to extend the SRO and Crossing Guard Programs <br /> for one year and to begin negotiations with the Pleasanton Unified School District for a <br /> cost sharing agreement. Motion passed by the following vote: <br /> Ayes: Councilmembers Arkin, Balch, Nibert, Testa, Mayor Brown <br /> Noes: Councilmember Balch <br /> Absent: None <br /> At 11:20 p.m. by majority consensus, the City Council decided to proceed with the <br /> remaining items on the meeting agenda. <br /> b. Provide direction regarding staff recommendations for mid-term budget reallocation of <br /> existing non-restricted funds within the Capital Improvement Program to fund recently <br /> identified safety-related projects <br /> Recommendation: Review staff recommendations regarding CIP projects that could be <br /> deleted, deferred, or partially defunded and provide direction toward development of the <br /> mid-term capital budget and updates to the four-year capital improvement program. <br /> Adam Nelkie, Interim Public Works Director, presented the item. <br /> Mayor Brown opened public comment. There being no speakers, Mayor Brown closed <br /> the public comment. <br /> MOTION: It was m/s by Balch/Nibert to approve the item as recommended. Motion <br /> passed by the following vote: <br /> Ayes: Councilmembers Arkin, Balch, Nibert, Testa, Mayor Brown <br /> Noes: None <br /> Absent: None <br /> MATTERS INITIATED BY COUNCIL <br /> Councilmember Arkin requested to add a Livermore Airport partners discussion to a <br /> future Council meeting. City Manager responded that updates will be provided once <br /> conversations can be had with Livermore. <br /> COUNCIL REPORTS <br /> Councilmembers reported on regional and local board meetings attended. <br /> ADJOURNMENT <br /> City Council Minutes Page 6 of 7 March 19, 2024 <br />
