MILITARY EQUIPMENT USE REPORT 2023 <br />Armored Rescue Vehicle (ARV) <br />Our ARV was utilized a total of 4 times between January 1st, 2023, thru December 31st, 2023: <br />Authorized usages: <br />•Safely address an individual who displays self-destrucXve, dangerous, or combaXve <br />behavior. <br />•Safely address an armed, or potenXally armed, or violent individual. <br />•Circumstances where a tacXcal advantage can be obtained. <br />•SituaXons where officers uXlized de-escalaXon techniques. <br />•Safely rescue ciXzens and first responders during armed confrontaXons and violence. <br /> <br />Unauthorized usages: <br />•There have been zero (0) reported violaXons of the military equipment use <br /> policy from January 1, 2023, through December 21, 2023. <br />Unmanned, remotely piloted, powered aerial or ground vehicles <br />Unmanned, remotely piloted, powered aerial or ground vehicles were utilized a total of 18 times <br /> between January 1st, 2023, thru December 31st, 2023.
